.... and we call ourselves "Engineers"

Not the best way to start your day i would say......As always woke up with a Good Morning Msg from my friend....With a brush in one hand and the mouse in ma other hand, i started playing the song "Nenjukul Peidhidum ....from Vaarnam Ayiram"....Of late i have started listening to such songs a lot. If i am not talking, it means i am listening to these songs....Thats how i would potray that......Probably this could be one of the reasons as to why my Orkut one liners depict so much of Romance.....ha ha....Just kidding.....

"Lunch office la ...." as i uttered these words, i closed the door and started increasing the speaker's volume......"Yenodu vaaaaaa veedu varaikum, yen veetai paarrrr ennai pidikum....." I like this part of the song a lot that i keep tuning the song to this line frequently......

K by now you must be aware of the fact that i am a jobless, senseless, meaningless IT Engineer who is trying to start his day to the office without intentions of working.......(Even if i have intentions, i dont have work to do :))

As i started the bike, it was around 8:00 AM. I started taking the same route that i go by daily, and of course all the time humming the same lyrics....

With lot of obstacles, i somehow managed to reach the Guindy estate road.
Vendors busy selling Road side delicacies, People busy talking on their newly bought cell phones (guess :)), vehicles all over the place, not a place to stand.....

Now i had to take a left at the Guindy fly over.....I could see lots of cars and bikes racing around this very small turn.....

but soon i could notice that people were diverging at some point taking turns very randomly.....As i came near, i was shocked to see that a blind pedestrian was standing in da middle of this turn not knowing where to go. He was totally stunned by the bike and car horns that he could not dare to make a step forward or backward....And all that i could see was all these riders were modest enough to avoid this person but no one cared to stop for him to go or no pedestrian did care to guide him in crossing the road.....All neatly dressed up, tagged IT Professionals riding in imported bikes not caring about a blind pedestrian who was by then struggling for his life in the middle of such a busy road.....

And we call ourselves "Engineers"......

PS: You might ask why i did not react at that juncture when i have all the time in this earth to think of that incident and write this blog......I have no answer for this question....Probably i am also one such idiot who call myself an Engineer......
