The Actual Dasa….

And now as the film has already started lets see a small review of it from what ever i have collected from the viewers....

Dasa.....that’s how it’s called.......But does it really show cast the ability of 10 times kamal’s capability????.....A big no is the answer on a straight shot....But its really not possible for any human being with all six senses intact to perform 10 times his own capability....Can a singer sing 10 times louder than he does normally????.....Can a dancer dance 10 times as fast he does normally????....Again a big no for all these questions....So am i coming to conclude that Dasa has its full quota of praise from all since its not practical for Kamal to perform equally on all 10 roles????.....I don't really know...so lets put aside this for a moment until all watch this film and then get back to this blog.

"Wow, the 2 crores scene was stunning.....".....This is a comment that I heard from a guy standing with me in the so called rest room.....So called????....yes Mayajaal could not match Sathyam in this aspect…..Again only this aspect????.....sorry again it could not match Sathyam in any of the aspects but for one….which one????...the fact that both screen Dasa  ….Hey mind u Mr. Writer, this is a review of Dasa and now a review of Mayajaal…..ok getting back to Dasa……for heaven sake at least in this post let me not drag too many things in except Dasa….

So what’s all about this 2 crores scene????....for all those who did not watch the film, it’s a bird’s eye shot of Chennai….The camera man has really done an excellent job in covering Chennai fully and portraying it as a classy foreign nation….oh cool…..job fully done. is it?. Are u trying to ask me if that’s worth 2 crores? Oh don’t do that to me…cause I cannot take that myself…..probably down the lane in this blog we might find answers for these lighter expenses…..(2 crores is lighter compared to the full film budget of 160 crores mind u ).

So what’s next????....Hi everybody welcome to 12th century…..what a direction isn’t it?????....Hey by the by I am praising it ok…don’t take it in the wrong sense….so some chola king is now in the form of napoleon…oh or should I make that statement vice versa????....He is one among other characters who fits perfectly for this role….Oops again I did not mentioned the 10 characters in this comparison….I meant the whole set of characters in this film even including a security guy  Napoleon has really done his job to perfection supporting Kamal in this shot. Though a small one, it’s a job well done.

Don’t sleep Balaji….this is what I had to tell to him to constantly make him see the full film…..in another few minutes, Rengaraja Perumal and Kamal will be thrown into the sea…..Kamal acts great in this scene….this is real acting as if he is an ardent believer of god….But what does he actually try to communicate to his fans here?. Is there some relation ship or meaning in this part being a part of this low budget film????....

To viewers its pretty much clear that Kamal has done his level best to bring out his atheist feelings out very well under the covers of so called “Great Acting”…..but this is not my opinion but viewers opinion……I am still a centrist with respect to Dasa….Think that’s very clear till now in this blog .

So Kamal’s magic statement “Kadavul Rengarajana kapathala”…..clearly shows how capable he is….what does that prove? But for this, Kamal has once again proved himself by excellently reciting slokas and mantras to perfection…. Is he preaching something to his fans at the cost of Aascar Ravi????....oh my goodness for all those who don’t know, Aascar ravichandran is the producer (now rich after distribution of this film ) who has been a strong supporter (financial supporter)……ok lets see what’s remaining for eating up another 158 Crores….(2 already gone under sea). …..though not new for Kamal, acting has been excellent throughout the movie. A pain has turned everything into gain for Aascar and K.S.Ravikumar.

Again back to Chennai and this time u will be taken to 21st century where Kamal is now a great scientist….(Don’t ask me now what’s the purpose of the 12th century scene…..For sure Director will know) This time its extraordinarily portrayed normal scenario of an action hero saving something from the hands of extremely dangerous, ordinarily portrayed villains. So who comes to rescue? No wild guesses please…no ordinary guesses required too…..It’s very obvious that it must be Kamal….But why????....cause remaining 8 roles of his have to eat up 2 more hours from now on….  One excellent character in these 10 roles (again this is Audience’s view not mine ) is this savior character, who is a RAW officer…..who is admiringly funny, mimicking Balaiya (old Tamil comedian) and looking extremely hilarious…..Oops but is there a question in your mind as to whether RAW recruits such people????? Erase this question…its irrelevant totally for the fact that it cannot be answered by anyone except me, the writer…..  But one this is for sure. Kamal has taken his acting to new heights…..The way he speaks “Enna ya idhu…..Terrorist Gang a nee?” is absolutely fascinating.

Ok so how many more to go????....hold on for a sec…I am confused…..are you too? Actually by this time u must have seen all the 10 and you would have actually….so what does this above confusing statement mean? Ah….good writer’s touch isn’t it????......the point is, make up for the other Kamal roles are so perfect that its too tough for us to find if its Kamal or not….. Hey come on readers, don’t take everything in the wrong sense…..I am trying so hard to make you people understand that this film is too good. Cause I am an ardent fan of Kamal’s acting and his dialogue deliveries….

Pluses for Dasa?

Does Kamal look like a man in his 50s…..answer is No.
Does Kamal act?. Nope he lives in all 10 characters,
Does Kamal sing in this film…Yup, he has proved him self again.
Etc.

Minuses for Dasa?.

Weight age for all 10 roles not equal…but that’s tough again to decide if its ok or not.
2 songs “Kallai mattum Kandal” and “Ulaga nayagane” some how win more points and somehow tally the rest and hence net score is????....
Does the film have a strongly portrayed Villain character?

But the fact is the hard work of Kamal and the make up man has really paid off very well in all the characters. Purely no doubt in that. Story might not be so strongly supporting that, that being a different question, Ravi kumar has done a great job too by trying his level best to cover up all 10 characters into the story within a short span of 3 hours….Oops by the by do u now think that 3 hours is a long one…..but its worth sitting….For one simple reason that u have paid 200 bucks boss so make max out of it…..  Just kidding……its really worth seeing cause Kamal has really done an excellent job.


Ahhhh alas the interval has now come, ITLects is now in full heels…..hey again don’t mistake we are not running to save ourselves, its because we have to stand first in the queue for the free snacks….remember this is what Renga was dreaming off before he entered into the theatre….  Oops onw small doubt, so rengarajan nambiar is now in his 11th role as Renga in ITLects ????....ha ha…..chillax renga….
